Artist Story
Brett MacIntyre is the 2013 recipient of the Prix de Rome in Architecture for Emerging Practitioners. A graduate of the University of Victoria and of Dalhousie University in Halifax, he will travel to the Arctic region of Sapmi, home to the indigenous culture of the Sami, to study the approaches taken by different countries towards the fostering of aboriginal cultures through architecture.
