Stay tuned: Canada Council to announce new music prize

Ottawa, September 16, 2010 – Good news for musicians and music lovers! Canada Council for the Arts Director and CEO Robert Sirman and National Youth Orchestra of Canada Chair Randy Barber will be in Toronto on Tuesday, September 21 to announce a new music prize live from the New Classical 96.3 FM studio. The event will feature performances by musicians from the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. Misters Sirman and Barber will be on hand for interviews following the announcement.
