This $5,000 prize, awarded every two years, offers Canadian classical singers under age 35 an opportunity to pursue their career through further studies. The winner is selected from the recipients of the Grants to Professional Musicians program.
This award is for First Nations, Métis or Inuit authors of English-language literary works for young adults, and guarantees a purchase of the winning works for distribution to schools, libraries, and Friendship Centres. Eligible publishers must submit books or manuscripts.
