Summary of the Corporate Plan 2008-11

The Canada Council’s Corporate Plan 2008-11 builds on two key planning documents: Moving Forward, Strategic Plan 2008-11, Values and Directions (October 2007) and Moving Forward, Action Plan 2008-11 (February 2008). These two documents were informed by the most extensive stakeholder consultation the Council has undertaken since it was established in 1957.

The Summary of the Corporate Plan 2008-11 is the public version of the plan highlights the key elements of the plan.

Moving Forward - Action Plan: 2008-11 describes the specific operational objectives and strategies the Canada Council will pursue to achieve its Strategic Plan directions.

Strategic Plan 2008-11: Values and Directions

The Canada Council’s Strategic Plan for 2008-11 sets out the values and directions that will guide the Council over the next three to five years. It is the result of what the Council believes to be the largest and most extensive consultation in its history.
