In 2011-12, over 2,000 artists and 2,200 arts organizations received funding to bring the arts to life in some 1,900 communities across Canada. This Annual Report tells the story behind these impressive numbers. It also shows how the Canada Council is drawing on its strength as a connector to continue to improve and adapt to changes in the arts sector, ensuring a vibrant arts scene for all Canadians.
