From grassroots art projects to large-scale touring productions, Canadian artists and arts organizations are making an impact on the lives of Canadians in communities across the country, and around the world. In 2010-11, the Canada Council for the Arts awarded more than $142.3 M in grants to artists and arts organizations in some 2,000 communities across Canada.
